Marc Bell

Biography

Marc Bell has recently moved from Vancouver to Toronto. Mark's book, "The Stacks,"

was published in December 2004 by Drawn and Quarterly Books and his

book "Shrimpy and Paul and Friends" was released in 2003 from Highwater

Books. His work has been included in many graphic anthologies such as The

Ganzfeld #3 and #4, Kramer's Ergot #4 and #5 and many weekly and monthly

periodicals.
As well, Fantagraphics Books is publishing an ongoing comic book

series of Mark's called "Worn Tuff Elbow". His second solo exhibition of

drawings, works on paper and constructions was held at the Adam Baumgold

Gallery in May/June 2005.

Marc's "His and Hers Unique Headwear" printed here at New Leaf was

be featured in his second solo exhibition, "Bloo Chip" at the Adam

Baumgold Gallery.
