Greg Murdock was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1954. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1977, did a stint at the Instituto Allende in San Miguel Allende, Mexico, and graduated from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver in 1981. He has exhibited regularly ever since.
His work can be found in numerous private,corporate and public collections in Canada and the United States including the Vancouver Art Gallery, the MacKenzie Art Gallery, Regina, Musee d’art Contemporain Montreal, the Art Institute of Chicago and the Artists for Kids Gallery in North Vancouver. Greg Murdock currently lives and works in Vancouver, BC.
Greg has made several prints at NewLeaf, and has also worked with Landfall Press in Chicago.
