Exhibition Description
In celebration of Indigenous History Month this June, New Leaf Editions proudly presents a retrospective of prints by Indigenous artists who have collaborated with master printmaker Peter Braune over the past 40 years.
The exhibition features works by:
Germaine Arnaktauyok, Shuvinai Ashoona, Kelly Cannell, Elisapee Ishulutak, Brian Jungen, George Littlechild, David Neel, Tim Paul, Tim Pitsiulak, Susan Point, Bill Reid, Lyle Wilson, Xwalacktun, and Lawrence Paul Yuxweluptun.
Spanning a wide range of printmaking techniques that Braune has refined throughout his decades-long practice, the show highlights both the technical mastery and deep artistic relationships that have developed over the years—some of which continue to this day.
